Daddy, do you need the fly slapper?

Another Libbi funny....she was asking Dave if he needed the fly slapper. LOL. She has such funny names for things.

The girls are completely ready for the birthday party they are going to next door....a pool/pizza/Hannah Montana concert party. They'll be there for 3 hours, so Dave and I are headed to dinner ALONE. He made it home from his meeting with plenty of time to spare. Gosh, it will be really nice to have a meal alone, without the girls. We are going to a Japanese place that cooks right in front of you.

Oh yeah, the party doesn't start for 25 minutes, and the girls have already been ready for 25 minutes! They aren't excited in the least, are they. They had their rooms cleaned early this afternoon, took their folded laundry upstairs (and put it away) and ran the vacuum for me downstairs (they love doing this and will fight over it! I know, this will not last much longer hehe).

It got to 103 degrees here, and according to the National Weather Service website, the heat index was 130! Oh man, it sure is hot outside! There is a breeze, and that helps, but when it is this hot it is gross The hot weather is expected to stay for the next several days.
