The Opening Ceremony for the Beijing Olympics was on tv tonight and just so pretty and elaborate! I loved the music, the dancing, the costumes, the children, the torch and cauldron lighting, and all the wonderful special effects. WOW! I sat here for 4.5 hours and watched. The girls sat with me for a bit, but once the parade of nations began, they got bored (that part lasted for 2 hours) and went on to bed.
Lovely colors, amazing technical advances and just such elegance!
