We have a GRADUATE and a train crash!

Libbi's graduation went great and she was so beautiful in her cap and gown. She looked quite dignified! It was held in a park here in town and really a beautiful setting! It amazes me how some of these preschool kids can bring a horde of 20 people each! Some people make a very big deal of this. Libbi did her lines wonderful and even though she had to sit in the way back
(gotta love a last name starting with Zw) I managed to catch her face on video and I am sure Dave got some good pictures. I have not yet looked at them. We went out to dinner afterwards and it was nice.

So, we have some big news in our little town. At about 3:30 pm, a train hit the trailer of a semi truck that had just passed over the tracks about 2 miles from our house. 8 cars went off the track and the track is ruined. It is quite the sight to see! Strange to see train cars on their sides piled and resting against trees! 4 people on the train (engineers) were slightly hurt, the truck driver was fine. It's quite a mess though and news trucks are everywhere...we even ran into the channel 5 anchor and cameraman at dinner. Lots of helicopters too. The tracks run over several main crossroads in our town, so of course traffic was strange. They have moved the train cars still on the tracks out of the way of the blocked intersections though, so that helped! It's quite the big story in Memphis this evening! Good thing neither the train nor the truck had hazardous materials or we probably would have been evacuated from our home.

Abbi is feeling much better, I am happy to report.
