SPRING BREAK DAY 2

We again had a lazy morning, how nice is that??? Once we were up and moving, we straightened up some things. The sun was out and it was 65 degrees so we saddled up and took a bike ride around BOTH lakes twice, whew! Libbi gets faster and faster each time and I love how she focuses on the trail so much. Her sister always watched everything else at this age lol. Libbi was so proud she had NO ACCIDENTS or falls.

Lunch was sandwiches and pretzels. After lunch, we had to run by Bellevue to drop off the forms for Abbi to be in the Passion Play.

Then it was off to the ENT to have the doc take a look at Abbi's ears. They are doing REALLY well! The left one is 90% healed and the right one 95% healed. Doc was very happy! BUT (why is there always a but??), she has a bit of a staph infection in her nose and we're treating that now too with the antibiotic cream.

Came home to go flying outside to play in the 75 degree weather ad SUN. So nice to hear all the kids playing. I planted a few spring bulbs and now am just praying the year-old things actually bloom!

Made a quick dinner of Philly cheese steak and even Libbi ate ALL of hers....WOW!

After dinner the girls and I took off for another bike ride, and added a neighbor girl with us this time. Libbi's bike chain came off and we were lucky to grab Daddy before he left to come rescue Mommy and her black fingers! Chain was fixed and off we went again and Daddy went to his meeting. Once we got back home, we talked to a neighbor for a little bit and got inside just in time to watch Biggest Loser.

I have eaten FAR better today than yesterday. I am down 2 pounds since last Friday and trying to get even more. The bike rides feel so good, and what makes it even better is getting to go with my girls. 40 minutes on my bike today and it didn't even feel like it! The weather has been so nice.

After we came in, the girls got baths and a snack. Waiting for Daddy to get back from his meeting before they go to bed, if they last that long.

Tomorrow we are home all day and it is supposed to still be really nice, upper 70s. We look forward to another morning bike ride! Maybe I'll get a new picture of the girls too on here.
